Lita is a very special kid because she has always looked out for the needs of others that might not be able to participate like all the rest of the kids.  I support this program because I have been an ex-teacher for 36 years and I know how much kids like to play.  The fund raising that Lita is doing is going to make a big difference in those kids lives. 

Her passion began at the tender age of seven when LITA realized that kids with special needs were unable to participate in playground activities, due to the lack of handicapped accessible playground equipment. What started out as a question "why can't all kids play?" has become a mission and burning desire to purchase and install all-inclusive playground in her local community...and beyond.

Lita has been special since the day she was born, she is just that good, a great kid.  You don't even know she is there.  She gets these ideas, like Special Toys and she runs with it, she's just that special.  

What an idea! It would take a child to think of the needs of all children. I wish to include all children. Lita is a brilliant, thoughtful, and involved young woman that has planted the seed to start Special Toys 4 Special Needs. Schools, city planning, (etc...) do not/cannot squeeze in the funds for inclusive playgrounds. This is where ST4SN comes in; raising money to build these special places so children of all needs, having a safe and fun place to call their own.
 

I personally and my family support Special Toys 4 Special Needs, it’s almost like if someone does not step up and do something and try to help the children that don’t have the things that they need, who’s going to do it.  Lita and her family have stepped up in a big way and I totally support them.  I want to step forward to help make this project a success.

I am so excited about the Special Need park coming to Needville.  Probably long over due and I have so happy that Lita has taken the time to raise money for it.  She is a great young lady and has been working hard at this giving the kids an opportunity to be able to play along side kids that are typically to play along side the kids who are typically developing and walking.  Also access equipment that they would be able to play on.

I am Lita’s aunt, I could not be prouder for Lita.  She has always looked out for others her entire life.  So thank you Lita for what you are doing and how you are impressing others.

I’ve been going to church with the Meyer family for close to 10 years.  Lita has always been an amazing young woman.  Her starting this and having the drive to do this with a minimal amount of direction.  Lita has done an amazing thing.  This will positively impact this community.

Chris and Shay raised a wonderful young lady.  It’s amazing to watch this community come together to support such a great cause, Special Toys 4 Special Needs.  

I have coached Lita as an athlete for six years.  I am very aware of what she is doing with Special Toys 4 Special Needs and I am not surprised by that.  She is driven when she is focused in on something and has the same drive with this project.  We are here to support her.

We love Lita, she is a hard worker.  This is a dream of her for years and years.  We want to encourage people to support Lita and her project, Special Toys 4 Special Needs.

I’ve been knowing the Meyer family for years.  Lita is very special to me as I have seen her grow up.  I've seen her as such a wonderful young lady that has grown up in the Christian world. She has a heart bigger than the state of Texas.  What she is doing is incredible.

What a cool opportunity to support local youth who is doing something for others.  It is very refreshing.  That is going to be a very successful young lady.
